Richard Bernard Moore (UPDATE)


Richard Moore, who is scheduled to be executed on April 29th 2022, has chosen to be executed by firing squad instead of the electric chair.

Richard was quoted saying "I believe this election is forcing me to choose between two unconstitutional methods of execution, and I do not intend to waive any challenges to electrocution or firing squad by making an election."

Well, he ended up choosing because he felt the firing squad method wasn't as bad as the electric chair.


Richard was put on death row for killing a police officer in 1999. Officer James Mahoney.
